Exposition Text

  Definition Exposition text is text that contains a brief, concise and clear invitation. This text usually has the characteristics of answering questions in the form of what, who, where, when, why, and how. The text of the exposition is composed of the same structure that compiles an opinion or editorial, in which there are three important elements, namely a statement of opinion, an argument and a restatement of opinion. Purpose The purpose of the exposition text is to provide information so that it can add to the reader’s knowledge. Readers are expected to add precise, detailed, and clear knowledge of things and events. Generic Structure TITLE The title should describe something discussed in the Exposition text. NARRATIVE TEXT Definition A narrative is a story or description of a series of events. These events generally occur in the past. contains imaginary stories, fairy tales, or true stories that have been exaggerated. Narrative text type There are many types of narrative text. The following are the types of narrative text:  fairy stories, mysteries, science fiction, romances, horror stories, adventure stories, fables, myths and legends, historical narratives, ballads, slice of life, personal experience.   Definition Biography text is a text that tells about the life of a person and can be interpreted as a story of a person's life history. Biography described the full life of a person from childhood to old age, even to death. This text also explained all services, works, and all forms produced by a character. Function Biography text has a function to give information and educate the readers to know about a person's story about his/her life outside of any accomplishments this person may  be known for.
